Little World Citizens is a virtues-based class for young children, ages 3-5, to attend with an adult caregiver. The purpose of the class is to aid preschoolers in developing spiritual qualities, called virtues, like love, purity of heart, kindness, obedience, respect, cleanliness and more.
During the class, the children will learn songs and quotations based on the virtue of the week. They will hear stories, play games and make arts and crafts that help reinforce the weekly virtue. They will also learn simple prayers.
These classes are free and open to all members of the community and aimed at bringing our diverse community together. The source of the prayers and quotes used during class are from the Baha'i Writings, which teach:
For the safety of the community, all children's class teachers have passed a thorough background check, which can be provided. Since the children are very young, an adult caregiver must be present at all times to help the flow of the class.
